Making Vanilla Bean Infused Sugar Directions:
  1. To make Vanilla Bean Infused Sugar, take 3 vanilla pods, slice them lengthwise in half, place in a mason jar and fill with organic sugar. Let the sugar sit for three weeks, shaking the jar periodically.
Reusing Vanilla Bean for Vanilla Bean Infused Sugar Directions:
  1. After using vanilla beans in another recipe, wash the bean pods and dry them well with a paper towel. Place the vanilla beans into a mason jar and fill with organic sugar. Let the sugar sit for three weeks, shaking the jar periodically.
  2. One can also speed the process up and use the whole vanilla bean pods to make a sugar. Chop the clean and dried vanilla bean pods into smaller pieces. Add them to a food processor, along with the sugar, seal and pulse until the the pods have broken down into small pieces. Transfer this to a mason jar and seal.
