2K Island Dressing
Thousand Island dressing and Russian dressing are very similar. They are a combination of Mayonnaise | Aioli and ketchup. My version adds some more flavors from other ingredients and doesn’t solely rely on commercial ketchup to give it all its flavor. Using umami, spice (both from chili sauce and seasonings) and vinegar gives balance to the finished 2K Island Dressing | Sauce.
This ‘special’ sauce can be used with shrimp or crab to make a Louie Salad, a dip from veggies, on a burger instead of other condiments or with the updated Ruben Sandwich.
