Home Brew Chef All Purpose BBQ Rub
Perfect all purpose rub for pork, chicken or fish. This rub is an ingredients in IPA Mustard Sauce for BBQ recipe.
Makes: Just over 2 cups

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoon cumin, seeds, organic from Savory Spice Co.
- 3 tablespoon coriander seeds from Savory Spice Co.
- 3/4 cup paprika, California from Savory Spice Co.
- 1/2 cup salt, kosher
- 1/4 cup sugar, brown dark
- 1/4 cup sugar, organic
- 3 tablespoon mustard, powder, yellow, mild, from Savory Spice Co.
- 2 tablespoon sage, rubbed from Savory Spice Co.
- 2 teaspoon thyme, French, dried from Savory Spice Co.
- 2 teaspoon peppercorns, mixed (black, white, green & red) from Savory Spice Co.
- 1 teaspoon chili, cayenne, ground, from Savory Spice Co.

Instructions
- In a cast iron skillet or saute pan, placed over medium heat, add the cumin and coriander seeds. Stir continually until the seeds start to pop and the aroma of the spices fills your nose. Remove from the heat and place into a spice grinder or cleaned coffee grinder. Allow to fully cool, them pulse until the seeds become a powder.
- Add the ground cumin | coriander to a bowl, along with the remaining ingredients and using a whisk, blend well. Transfer the All Purpose Spice Blend into a seal-able container, such as a pint size mason jar. This spice mix will last several months in a cool, dry spice drawer or cupboard.
